Christmas decorations and the hairdresser
Guess which little boy who has cut his hair today? It was a good piece of hair that was cut. The hair on Lilleman was so long that it fell on his back so we felt that it probably was time for the hairdresser now. Lilleman's father bribed him to get to chose something in the toy store if he behaved at the hairdresser. And did he! While we waited for his turn, he sat and held on tight to his cap, and I thought for a moment that it would be a "cap hairstyle" (like a pot hairstyle but with a hat). But he sat still the whole time while the hairdresser both cut and used the hair trimmer in his neck. I think it was the toy store that spun around in his head all the time. Said and done, we went to the toy store afterward where we purchased a large Lego Darth Vader.
On Monday, I started unpack Christmas decorations and put up the candlesticks in all rooms. On Tuesday, I washed all the christmas curtains and picked up the little santas. Today, I have ironed the curtains and puted them up. Oh my. I barely understand how I have managed to decorate all these years. I love the decorations and would be happy to put up the Christmas tree now. But this year, I don't know where the energy has gone. I have two super easy children who almost never whines and who allows me to do pretty much whatever I want during the day, so it is not lack of time that is the problem. Perhaps it is my lack of exercise. Exercise and training is probably the things in my life that I focus the least on right now. I've planned to just enjoy life and all it's good until February and then take me by the collar and get a little healthier. Yes, that's how it sounds right now, anyway. We'll see what new excuse I can come up with later!
